Crossfade grade

Look-up tables (LUTs) are generally applied to material created in log formats. For the Crossfade video, LUTs were applied to stills in Resolve. The timelapse was captured recently with a Lumix s5 and the image of Christ on the cross was taken with a Canon Powershot G7 over 10 years ago in Suffolk. Seven of the ten composite clips have had standard downloaded LUTs applied. The remainder are custom grades. Sandstorm is intended to suggest a desert sunset. Buddy Boy titles is based on the look Mark Hanlon wanted for the opening title sequence of his 1999 film of that name. As I understand it he basically shot with a toy camera. After grading in Resolve it is possible to generate your own LUT, so these two looks could easily be applied to other material in the future.
